FICCI Aditya Birla CSR Centre for Excellence is organizing “2 Days Training Program on Result Based Program Management” on 23 and 24 August, 2018 at FICCI, Federation House, New Delhi

The training on Result based project management (RBM) is designed to address the growing demand for CSR managers who can use Results-based program management approaches to identify , assess , plan , implement and manage an ever bourgeoning range of potential development programs and CSR projects.

RBM provides a structured, logical model to manage an intervention while trying to ensure its relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and other quality criteria. Few of the key results based management tools such as Monitoring and evaluation are increasingly being used to help ensure that resources are put to optimum use and that beneficiaries and stakeholders are assured of receiving the benefits that are committed to them.

At the end of 2 days training program, participants will have developed an understanding on the stages of project cycle, implementation of Results based management, Steps for conducting and designing monitoring etc.

The training will be conducted with the participatory methodology. The trainer will build on participants’ level of knowledge by seeking their views and opinions on various issues. Plenary and group discussions will be used to explore various subjects followed by presentations by the facilitator as necessary. The presentations will be supported by relevant examples from the field of development work.
The training will have a component of practice. The practice will initially be provided to acquire familiarity with the concepts and a certain degree of confidence in handling them.

At the end of 2 days training program, participants will have developed an understanding on the following:

• The project cycle and how importance of each stage (Situational analysis, Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation) in the Project
• The importance of being results oriented throughout the project cycle and the concept of Results based management
• Clarity of terminology
  • Difference and relationship of Impact, Outcome, Intermediate Outcome / Use of Output (new concept) and Outputs
  • Indicators
• Steps for conducting and designing monitoring
